To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has had with his European and other international counterparts on the commemoration of the centenary of the first world war.

There have been numerous discussions with European and international counterparts about the commemoration of the centenary of the first world war by the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my right hon. Friend the Member for Richmond (Yorks) (Mr Hague), his ministerial team and officials. We expect these discussions to continue and intensify as the start of the centenary approaches.
