To ask the hon. Member for South West Devon, representing the Speaker's Committee on the Electoral Commission, if the Electoral Commission will place in the Library a copy of all (a) correspondence and (b) minutes of meetings in the last three years concerning the use of identity cards for voters.

The Electoral Commission informs me that it will write to the hon. Member with as much of the information requested as possible and will arrange for copies to be placed in the House Library.
