The pilots are being run between the Government and the private sector to identify potential benefits from an operational service. These are expected to complete in January 2015. The information from these pilots will be used to support the production of a business case on the development and delivery of an operational Counter Fraud Checking Service.

There are various data-sharing projects across Government and the wider public sector that seek to access and share data in support of operational delivery, developing public services and improving efficiency.
