To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what his policy is on plans by the Government of Gibraltar to establish a state-owned bank in that territory.
Banking and associated legislation in Gibraltar are within the constitutional competence of HM Government of Gibraltar. The UK Government therefore have no policy on plans by HM Government of Gibraltar to establish a state-owned bank.
