To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what recent discussions he has had with ministerial counterparts on increasing the purchase of British food by public bodies.

DEFRA Ministers have had a range of conversations with ministerial colleagues in other Departments, in particular the Department of Health and the Department for Education, to discuss the promotion of sourcing local food in the context of sustainable and healthy diets.
