To ask the Secretary of State for Justice how many (a) male and (b) female victims of trafficking for labour exploitation accessed Government-supported services provided through the Salvation Army in (i) 2011 and (ii) 2012; and if she will make a statement.

The Salvation Army has run the Government contract to provide assistance and support to potential adult victims of human trafficking since 1 July 2011.

Between then and 31 December 2012, 270 males and 62 females referred to the Salvation Army had been identified as potential victims of labour exploitation.
