To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills if he will estimate the value of exports from each English region in the most recent year in (a) total, (b) total by sector and (c) total per head of population.
The value of goods exports by region is published by HMRC; no reliable estimate of the value of services exports by region is available. The following table shows the value of goods exports by English region and the value per head of population for 2012. Data for 2012 are provisional.
