The Extremism Task Force, established in early June, has met four times. Meetings have focused on the practical steps we can take to deal with all forms of extremism, including:

disrupting extremist activity; challenging extremist narratives; tackling radicalisation in institutions such as schools, universities, mosques and prisons; and supporting faith and community leadership to build strong, integrated communities.

The next meeting of the task force is scheduled for 22 October.
