To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what recent progress has been made in discussions between his Department and the preferred bidder for his Department's building at Greenock formerly used by the coastguard.
The Ministry of Defence is disposing of the building at Greenock in accordance with Treasury guidelines. A preferred bidder has been identified but it is inappropriate to comment further while this process is ongoing.
