To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what the total costs to date have been of his Department's consultation entitled Stamp Duty Land Tax: Consultation on the potential impacts of devolving to the National Assembly for Wales and Welsh Government.

The Government consultation entitled ‘Stamp Duty Land Tax: Consultation on the potential impacts of devolving to the National Assembly for Wales and Welsh Government’ allowed the Government to hear directly from business and other groups interested in this issue.

The cost of this consultation has been absorbed by the Treasury's existing budget for tax policy making and has not been recorded separately.
