To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills what his policy is on retaining British Summer Time throughout the year.
The Government have no plans to change the current arrangement and retain British Summer Time throughout the year.
Currently, the UK is on Greenwich Mean Time in the winter and is one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time in the summer (British Summer Time).
