To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when, and under whose authority, the practice of requiring Eurostar passengers travelling between Brussels and London to keep their boarding passes for checking on arrival at St Pancras was introduced.

The Secretary of State and Immigration Minister approved this course of action in 2012 until a permanent Eurostar led solution can be developed.
This is a proportionate response to a known border security risk.
