DFID is committed to helping the poorest Palestinian people, many of whom live within Area C. Extensive discussions are currently under way with relevant authorities, other donors and civil society groups about how we can support the potential development of infrastructure in Area C of the Occupied Palestinian Territories. DFID is now assessing the full costs and benefits of additional assistance for vulnerable communities in Area C including how they could form a part of Secretary Kerry's economic track of the Middle East Peace Process discussions.
