To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions how much his Department has spent on assisting recipients of Employment and Support Allowance into work through the Work Programme since June 2011.
From June 2011 to March 2013 (the period of the latest Work Programme statistical release) £83 million has been paid to providers for claimants in the ESA payment groups (Payment Groups 5, 6 and 7).
