To ask the Secretary of State for Education what training his Department provides for newly-appointed Ministers; and whether he has attended any such training sessions since his appointment.

Newly appointed Ministers receive briefing on the Ministerial Code and about handling of Parliamentary Business. Ministers' offices also arrange for Ministers to be briefed on their individual policy areas and provided with additional guidance or briefing on request.
