To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what assurances he has received as to the benefit to the Saharawi population of the new protocol to the EU-Morocco Fisheries Partnership Agreement.

The new protocol to the fisheries partnership agreement between the European Union and the Kingdom of Morocco has not yet been agreed by the Council and the European Parliament.

The agreement as initialled requires Morocco to report on the geographical distribution of European funds for structural support and infrastructure to include the impact on jobs and investment.
