To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many people are in receipt of (a) section 95 support for asylum applicants and (b) section 4 support for a failed asylum applicant who cannot return home.

As at end of June 2013, there were 21,423 asylum seekers, including dependants, in receipt of Section 95 and 4,472 in receipt of Section 4 support for failed asylum applicants who cannot return home.
