To ask the Attorney-General what the cost to the Serious Fraud Office was of recovering the evidence related to the BAE Systems case sent to the wrong location.

The costs of recovering the material are not recorded separately to the costs of investigating what happened; the cost recorded to 30 August 2013 for both is £10,835. This includes costs for the work carried out to date by Peter Mason in reviewing independently what happened.
