The air accidents investigation branch is currently investigating the Super Puma incident which occurred on 23 August 2013. It would be inappropriate for me to comment or discuss the accident while the investigation is ongoing. Therefore the Secretary of State for Transport, my right hon. Friend Mr McLoughlin had no recent discussions with representatives of employers or trade unions in the offshore helicopter sector following the accident.
