To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what arrangements the Prime Minister has put in place for the mainstreaming of sustainable development in all Government Departments.

The Government published its Vision for Mainstreaming Sustainable Development in February 2011. This sets out the arrangements for mainstreaming sustainable development across government. A report summarising progress since the publication of the Vision was published by DEFRA in conjunction with the Minister for Government Policy, Mr Letwin, this year.
