To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what proportion of the money paid by the EU for fishing opportunities in the waters off Western Sahara will be paid to Saharawis currently resident in refugee camps.

The new fisheries agreement between the European Union and the Kingdom of Morocco has not yet been agreed by the Council and the European Parliament.

The agreement, as initialled, requires Morocco to report on the geographical distribution of European funds for structural support and infrastructure, and to include the impact on jobs and investment.
