To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what assessment she has made of trends in the level of crime in (a) North Swindon constituency and (b) Wiltshire in each of the last five years; and if she will make a statement.

The requested data are provided in the table. Police recorded crime data are not available at constituency level but data for Swindon Community Safety Partnership area have been provided as this covers the same area.

Over the last two years, Action Fraud have taken over the recording of fraud offences from police forces. Fraud recording in Wiltshire moved to Action Fraud in 2012-13. To allow for consistent comparisons over time, crime totals are shown excluding fraud offences.
