To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how much and what proportion of her Department's budget has been spent in payment to companies in the private sector in each of the last five years.

The details of the Home Department's total spend with, and what proportion of the Department's budget has been spent in payment to, companies in the private sector, in 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13 , can be found in the following table. To provide the data for 2008-09 and 2009-10 would incur disproportionate cost.
