To ask Her Majesty’s Government what arrangements are being put in place for delivery of supplies to Ascension Island once RMS St Helena is withdrawn from service.

The Ministry of Defence operates regular air and sea supply chains for Ascension, and other South Atlantic Overseas Territories, to meet military needs. Where there is spare freight capacity on these routes this space is available for purchase to meet the supply requirements of the Territory. There are no plans to alter these arrangements after the withdrawal of the RMS St Helena.
