The ‘Science of Cyber Security’ Research Institute is looking to improve understanding of the science behind the growing cyber security threat. The institute is funded by a £3.8 million grant as part of the cross-Government commitment to increasing the UK's academic capability in cyber security. This is administered through Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council research grants which were granted on 1 October 2012 and will run until 31 March 2016.
