To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills what methodology his Department used to determine the distribution of EU transition zone funding for 2014 to 2020.

3% of the UK transition region budget will be transferred to the UK's two less developed regions—Cornwall and West Wales.

Funding for Northern Ireland and the Highlands and Islands of Scotland will be 5% lower in real terms than in 2007-13.

Funding for the nine English transition regions will be distributed equally, with all regions receiving an annual 20% real terms increase in funding compared to 2013.
