The Department is committed to supporting opportunities for young people through the new Civil Service Fast Track Apprenticeships scheme, which is currently being piloted. DCMS plans to take part by offering placements on this scheme, once further details are announced after the initial pilot, which commences in the autumn. By taking part in a scheme, run centrally through Civil Service Learning, the Department can ensure that the scheme is promoted more widely. Apprenticeships feature as part of the Department's talent and resourcing strategies.
