To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the current status of the Royal Naval buildings in Greenock is; and what future plans he has for these buildings.

In accordance with the Department's normal disposal procedure the site is being offered for sale on the open market. A closing date for offers of 28 June 2013 has now passed with a preferred bidder identified.
