To ask the Secretary of State for Justice whether consent is required before sentenced criminals undertake restorative justice processes.

At all stages of the criminal justice system, restorative justice can take place only where the offender admits responsibility and both the victim and offender have both been assessed as fully able, consenting and willing to engage in a restorative process.
