To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the total cost of flights conducted under the open skies treaty has been in each of the last 13 years.

The total cost of flights conducted under the open skies treaty in each of the last 13 years cannot be provided without incurring disproportionate cost.

However, the planning figure used for this financial year is £50,000 per operational mission, and approximately £25,000 for training missions with an approximate annual cost of £175,000.
