To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of the impact on (1) rent arrears, (2) child poverty, and (3) personal debt, of the proposed extension to seven days of the period before people who lose their jobs can obtain benefits.

No such assessments have been made. The increase of waiting days to seven will have a single effect at the start of a person’s entitlement when final wages will often be available.
