No specific assessment has been made of the direct benefits to North West Wales. However passengers will benefit from High Speed 2 via the interchange at Crewe and connection to West Coast Mainline. The Government's ambition is for a truly national network that is expected to deliver around £2 of benefits for every £1 spent.
