Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs written question – answered at on 5 July 2013.
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when he or one of his Ministers last met the (a) Justice Minister and (b) Attorney-General of the Dominican Republic.
The position of Justice Minister does not exist in the Dominican Republic. The responsibility for the justice system is shared between the Attorney-General and the President of the Supreme Court. Neither my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs nor any members of his ministerial team have met the President of the Supreme Court or the Attorney-General of the Dominican Republic.
