To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what steps he is taking to reduce occupational ill-health.

Fitness for work: the Government response to ‘Health at work—an independent review of sickness absence' was published in January 2013. It outlined a range of measures to support people with ill-health to remain in and return to work including a new health and work assessment and advisory service which will make occupational health expertise more widely available to GPs, and those employees and employers who need it most.
