As with any activity undertaken by military personnel, Commanders may initiate disciplinary action if they consider there to have been an offence committed under the Armed Forces Act 2006. Such action will depend upon how an individual has conducted themselves, and whether any applicable regulations have been breached. All crashes involving unmanned aerial vehicles are investigated and Defence Air Safety Occurrence Reports completed and, to date, no individual has been disciplined as a result.
