To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs with reference to the answer of 25 April 2013, Official Report, columns 1049-50W, on British nationals abroad: deaths, what the nature is of the assistance provided by his Department to families in such cases.

The range of support the Foreign and Commonwealth Office can provide in the cases of British nationals killed or murdered abroad is described in its publication, “Support for British Nationals Abroad”. This can be found on the Gov.uk website at:
