To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills what definition of reasonable royalty his Department uses for the licensing of revived copyright under the repeal of Section 52 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as set out in the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Bill.

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills does not currently use any such definitions.

This issue will be considered during the consultation process regarding the repeal of section 52 of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
