The Government have a strong relationship with the Government of the Cayman Islands. In January, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my honourable friend Mr Simmonds, met the new Cayman Premier, Juliana O'Connor-Connolly, to discuss progress on strengthening public finances and co-operation on the ambitious agenda agreed at the joint ministerial council in December 2012. We are also engaging with the Cayman Islands Government on the agenda of the UK G8 presidency.
