To ask Her Majesty's Government how they ensure that the board of the BBC Trust has adequate business experience.

Appointments to the board of the BBC Trust are made on merit against a publicised role specification which meets the skills and experience requirements of the board, under an open and transparent process which is regulated by the Commissioner for Public Appointments.
