To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions whether a claimant of employment and support allowance in the support group who asks to be referred to Work Choice will have to claim jobseeker's allowance.

The benefits Work Choice participants claim while on the programme are unaffected by their participation. Therefore claimants will not have to claim jobseeker’s allowance if they are in receipt of employment support allowance while participating in Work Choice.
