To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions what estimate he has made of the number of people whose application for employment and support allowance has been rejected, who face a gap in payments whilst awaiting the outcome of a mandatory reconsideration, and who will not apply for jobseeker's allowance because they do not feel capable of actively seeking work; and what steps he plans to take to ensure that people in such circumstances receive adequate support.
