To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change what estimate he has made of the proportion of UK waters currently feasible for the construction of offshore wind turbines.
No estimate has been made on the proportion of UK waters currently feasible for the construction of offshore wind farms. However it is the Crown Estate who are the owners of the sea bed and a maps of the round 1, 2 and Scottish Territorial Water wind farm sites along with the round 3 development zones can be found at:
