To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many immigration applications for residence as the spouse of an EU citizen are outstanding (a) six months and (b) one year after the claimant's biometrics were taken.

European Economic Area nationals and their families are not required to have biometrics taken when making an application to the UK Border Agency.
