To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many and what proportion of ballot papers were spoilt in each constabulary in the police and crime commissioner elections in November 2012.

Returning officers are responsible for calculating and publishing results, as in all elections. Details of the results of the police and crime commissioner elections are available in the certificates published by each of the 41 police area returning officers.
