To ask the hon. Member for Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross, representing the House of Commons Commission, how much the House of Commons Service paid Hays in the last 12 months; and how much was paid to Hays in that period to advertise for positions in the House Service.

For the period February 2012 to January 2013, Hays received payments totalling £312,166, to provide recruitment administration and a website for 84 recruitment campaigns. Of this £164,000 was spent on recruitment advertising.
