The most recent Memoranda of Understanding with Canada, Norway and Denmark came into effect on 6 August 2012, 6 March 2012 and 19 September 2012, respectively. The latter two seek to enhance bilateral defence cooperation, whereas the first specifically seeks to enhance defence materiel cooperation. In line with normal practice, such agreements are not made public as the details they contain are confidential between the UK and the nation concerned.
