To ask Her Majesty's Government whether they have plans to modify air passenger duty; and, if so, by how much and when.

Reforms to air passenger duty (APD) were considered as part of the consultation launched at Budget 2011. The Government's response was published on 6 December 20111.

From 1 April 2013, APD rates will rise in line with the retail prices index, as set out at Budget 2012.

The Chancellor keeps all taxes under review.
