To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department pursuant to the answer of 21 January 2013, Official Report, column 2W, on asylum, whether her Department plans to ensure that all data held by the UK Border Agency is held in a format compatible with national statistics protocols.
To produce and publish all data held internally by the agency in accordance with the national statistics protocols would incur disproportionate cost. However, UK Border Agency officials and Home Office statisticians keep under review what information should be developed and regularly published, based on feedback from users, and available resources.
