We believe that this is best achieved through practical assistance to help member states build capacity; improve the quality of their asylum systems and by sharing best practice. The Government supports the European Asylum Support Office (EASO) which is leading this work, focusing in particular on assistance to Greece and the development of an 'early warning' system to prevent future migration crises.
