To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what steps her Department is taking to meet its objectives on reducing domestic violence.

The Government's Call to End Violence Against Women and Girls Action Plan sets out our steps to tackle all forms of violence against women. This includes ring-fencing funding of nearly £40 million over the spending review period towards specialist domestic and sexual violence services. We are also piloting the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme in the four police areas of Greater Manchester, Gwent, Nottinghamshire and Wiltshire, and are evaluating the Domestic Violence Protection Order pilot that concluded in June 2012.
